Munnar, one of the most favourite hill stations in South India, needs no introduction. It comprises the best portions of the Western Ghats on the Kerala side. Top Station

This is the highest point in Munnar, perched in the Kannan Devan hills at a height of 1,880 metres above sea level. This spot provides a panoramic view of the Western Ghats that is breath-taking. This spot is also popular for the rare Neelakurinji plants that blooms once in 12 years, which envelopes the hill in a bright blue colour. The next you will be able to see them bloom is in 2018.

The ideal time to visit Top station is between the month of November through May. The spot is open on all days from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Attukal Waterfalls

This scenic waterfalls is at a distance of 9 km from Munnar. The waterfall set amidst hills and forests is spectacular, and is a perfect setting for a picnic. The site is also ideal for trekking and hiking.

The best time to visit is during the monsoon to witness the falls in all its glory.The spot is open on all days from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Tea Plantations

The tea plantations in Munnar, forming a carpeted landscape is well known for its scenic beauty. Tea plantations are a perfect spot to click some great photographs that could be cherished for a long time.
