We are 100% obsessed with our new Power Air Fryer XL!! Up until we purchased it, we never even attempted to cook wings because we could never get them to that crispy stage…UNTIL NOW. The Power Air Fryer is the most amazing investment I think we’ve ever made. Have those delicious fried foods without all the grease!! We love to fry up frozen French Fries and Onion rings on those busy nights when you need a quick side.
Anyways, back to the wings…this recipe for wings is SO delicious…that we even use the dry rub for Chicken Tenders! SO TASTY AND DELICIOUS that you just HAVE to try them! ENJOY!!
Air Fryer Crispy Parmesan Chicken WingsPrint Recipe
- Dry Rub:
- 12 chicken wings
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 c grated Parmesan for sprinkling
- 1/8 c parsley
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp thyme
- pinch of salt
Dry wings with a paper towel and combine the Dry Rub ingredients in a freezer bag.
Place wings in a freezer bag with dry ingredients and shake; you may allow to sit in fridge for at least 1 hour, or you can cook them right away.
Add wings into the Fry Basket and place into the Power Air Fryer.
Press the "M" Button and scroll to the "French Fries" Icon.
Hit the "Power" Button and adjust cooking time to 25 minutes at 400 degrees; depending on the wing size, you may have to adjust cook time.
Half way through the time, flip the wings.
In a medium saucepan place wing Sauce ingredients on medium low until butter is fully melted; cook for about 1-2 until the garlic has lost the harsh bite.
When wings are done (internal temperature is 165 degrees) remove and toss with the sauce.
