Classic Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ever had to take something to a party/get-together?  Since tailgating is around the corner, everyone needs that recipe that everyone will go crazy for!  While there are many options on easy recipes to take, this one tops the cake!  It’s simple, quick, easy, and completely delicious!  And honestly it tastes like you’ve been sweating over the stone all day long!  What a faker!!  :)

My family and I have made this recipe for a few years now and each time we do, we realize how amazing it is!  I will say that if you’re not a fan of “spicy” foods, then cut back on the hot sauce contained in the recipe.  It’s one of those recipes that can be adjusted for any pallet!  :)

Since this is used with a crock pot, you could even make it for yourself to munch on all day long!  I promise you, it’s THAT good and you may not even want to share with anyone!  :)

Classic Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 15 oz canned chicken, drained
  • 3 - 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 and 1/2 c Ranch dressing
  • 1 c Frank's Red Hot® sauce
  • 2 c shredded cheddar cheese



Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.


Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing; stirring until well blended and warm.


Mix in half of the shredded cheese and transfer the mixture to a crock pot.


Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on low until hot and bubbly.


Serve with tortilla chips.
