My dad and sister really love this Cabbage Salad recipe as it is very similar to a local meat market’s recipe! It’s also a different, healthy way to eat your veggies! :) The recipe can be customized as far as what veggies to add, but do stick with the correct dressing measurements. ENJOY!
- 6 c shredded cabbage
- 1 c shredded carrot
- 1 c chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 c white wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp celery seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Combine all of the vegetables in a large bowl; toss well.
- Combine ingredients for the dressing a smaller bowl, stirring with a whisk.
- Pour dressing over vegetable mixture, tossing gently to combine.
- Cover; chill 1 hour.
