It’s summertime (or so they say, you think differently if you live in Ohio!) and what better way to celebrate than to create a delicious, cold, coffee beverage? I would much rather have a coffee flavored beverage over and alcoholic beverage, any day! I now have a fun little single server blender that I’ve been playing around with for different drink recipes. This Cafe Peppermint Frappe was one recipe that I literally stumbled upon due to the ingredients that I had on and I can honestly say that it is so delicious, cool, and so refreshing! :) The best part is that you don’t have to travel to one of those fancy coffee shops to achieve this! It’s honestly that easy! :) If I can do it, so can you! The recipe calls for the ingredients that you should use, but depending on the consistency that you’d like, you may add more milk and less ice, or more ice and less milk. One will give you a frothier, creamy drink; while the other will give you a more icy drink. Either works and tastes just fine! :) You can also play with the types of milks you use depending on the calories you’d like to consume! :) Also, if you’re wanting to give this to kids, you could also use decaf coffee, but still brew it somewhat on the strong side so it’s not so watery; you’ll already be adding ice, so you don’t want to water it down any more. I mean, come on, this recipe is so easy that even a kid can make while an adult watches of course (due to using the blender). You’ll definitely want to make this all the time! ENJOY!
