Ever see those fancy chefs on TV making that PERFECT omelet and think, “hey…I can do that!!” And then when you try, it just never works out that well?? :) Have NO fear because I’m here to tell you how to EASILY make THE perfect omelet!! :) Now you can impress your family and friends on Sunday mornings or at fancy brunches! ENJOY and HAVE FUN!!
The Perfect OmeletPrint Recipe
- 2 eggs, whisked
- milk or half and half
- salt and pepper, to taste
- ham, diced
- bell peppers, diced
- onion, diced
Mix eggs, milk, and salt and pepper together until creamy, but not TOO milky.
Make sure you're using a well greased or non-stick pan because the eggs must be able to cook without ever sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Over a medium heat, add a little butter in pan, making sure it’s well coated.
Add eggs to pan, stirring constantly with a spatula; as the eggs begin to set up, continue pulling the eggs away from the sides and bottom of the pan.
When the eggs are nearly done cooking, add fillings in a straight line, along the center of the omelet.
Using a spatula, carefully pull up sides of omelet to enclose filling.
Continue rolling the French omelet away from the handle of the pan, until it’s folded into thirds on your plate in which it should easily slide it onto a plate to finish the fold.
