Do you have corn that you’re just not sure if it is done enough or flavorful enough?  Or are you trying to watch how much of that buttery, salty goodness that one tends to add to corn on the cob?  Then this is the recipe for you!  This recipe will make any corn on the cob tastes it’s freshest and will become the most flavorful corn on the cob that you will ever have.  This literally is almost the only way we eat corn on the cob these days.  It doesn’t take long and you can really just cook and serve it.  Don’t get messy with a TON of butter that you’re temped to add to your corn because the buttery goodness will be cooked within!!  :)  ENJOY!

  • 6-8 ears of corn, husks and silks removed
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • water



Fill a large pot about halfway with water (enough to make sure that the corn would be covered) and bring water to a boil.


Add milk and butter.


Then add corn and reduce heat.


Simmer corn for 6 to 8 minutes.


Remove corn from cooking liquid and its ready to serve.
