I don’t know how it’s been so long since i have been to the Hooley House Sports Pub & Grille and not done a review on it! Where does time go?! WHO KNOWS, but this amazing restaurant deserves the review it needs!
What’s a Hooley, you ask? Well Hooley (who-lee) is an informal Irish home kitchen party, according to their website. They also go on to say that traditionally, a Hooley was a social party that took place at a private residence (often in the kitchen). This is where everyone brought their favorite dish, their instruments, of course their favorite brew, and they ate, sang, and danced long into the night! Sounds like a good time, right?? :)
Well the food is amazing. Above you will see the Fish and Chips that I happen to order that came with their house-made tarter sauce. The Fish was fried perfectly and the fries were simple amazing! Below you will see the Buffalo Boneless Wings that my dad ordered, along with the perfectly delicious onion rings!
In keeping with the Hooley tradition, this is an Irish/American Sports Pub that serves moderately priced, fresh and tasty favorite foods (with a spotlight on classic Irish dishes) in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They also serve the most popular imported and domestic year-round and seasonal brews.
Below is what my mom ordered, a Ruben sandwich with homemade fried Potato Chips!
As any hooligan will tell you, “Every day is a Hooley day!” And this is the restaurant you could check out when you’re in Ohio! There are 4 locations in the north central Ohio area!! :)
