I LOVE a good banana bread for breakfast! This is like my fav go to when we have leftover bananas that are almost over ripened! Why let them go to waste?! Just make this DELICIOUS bread for the whole family to enjoy as a snack, dessert, or yes…breakfast. I mean, it is healthy…it has bananas! :) ENJOY!
Double Chocolate Banana BreadPrint Recipe
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c vegetable oil
- 1 and 1/4 c mashed bananas (about 3)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees and spray bottom of loaf pan with cooking spray.
Beat sugar, eggs, and oil in large bowl at until combined, then beat in banana and vanilla.
Next add flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt just until combined; finally, stir in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into pan and bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes and then remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
