Great Lakes Brewing Company in Cleveland, OH review
About a month ago, we made the trip to Cleveland for the day to check out a few of our favorite hot spots, while also hitting some new ones! Before we made the trek to the Westside Market, we decided to have some lunch at the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Brew Pub!
It’s located in Cleveland’s vibrant Ohio City neighborhood, literally right across from the market! I’ve never been, but have always wanted to go because I heard the food was that good. Now, if you’re completely into craft beer, then this is the place for you, simply because their 7-barrel brew-house is right next door where they create classic pub exclusive beers while also experimenting with new styles!
The environment for this restaurant is so neat and very welcoming with their eco-friendly beer garden that features a canvas retractable roof for hot summer days, as well as a radiant-heat floor and fireplace for those cool Fall nights! It’s definitely a great place to relax, enjoy some family and friend’s company, while also people watching everyone spending all their cash at the market!
I checked out the Fish and Chips as it’s one of their Signature Dishes! It’s made with Alaskan cod that is battered with their Edmund Fitzgerald Porter batter. It’s also served with pub fries, housemade tartar sauce, and housemade coleslaw! It was completely amazing and I would so get it again and again! :)
If you’re ever in the area, please stop that this Cleveland gem, as you won’t be disappointed!
