On my first trip to Nashville, Tennessee in July, I definitely wanted to check out a delicious BBQ place! There are so many options, so how do you know which one is the best option? Well, I did some research before we got in the area and knowing that we had never been there before, we wanted to start in the downtown area of Nashville which is where Jack’s Bar-B-Que is. We got there and walked right in on a Friday afternoon (which was pretty weird), but when we got in there, they were lined up! It’s one of those places where you walk up to the counter, pick want you’d like, grab your sauces and drinks and then find a seat. They had a few seats in the front of a restaurant, but they also had an upper floor as well where people were heading. The whole time we were there, the line was pretty steady.
So we order the pulled pork, baked apples, cabbage salad, and corn bread. The pulled pork was completely delicious! It was so tender and the BBQ sauce hit the spot! The baked apples were so yummy as well!! However, the best part? The CORNBREAD! I LOVE cornbread and this was so good. It wasn’t too sweet, but it did have a yummy sweetness taste to it that was awesome. I pretty much could have at the whole loaf! :)
If I lived closer, this restaurant would be bad news because I think I would be there all the time! If you love BBQ and are in the Nashville area, please check this place out! :)
