Maroon 5 Band and Album Review

Maroon 5 Review

Guess who’s going to see Maroon 5 in concert for the first time?  ME!  I’m super excited and wanted to share my excitement with this Maroon 5 Review!  I was able to score a presale password to purchase tickets on Thursday and today I received my email confirmation!  WOO!  I’ve been a huge Maroon 5 fan for a while, but I must admit that my fandom increased when Adam Levine joined The Voice.  He seems like a super nice guy and who wouldn’t want to listen to his voice for over two hours, LIVE?!  :)

Maroon 5 is known as an American pop-rock band from Los Angeles, California.  In 2004 they released their debut studio album Songs About Jane, which contained four hit singles: “Harder to Breathe”, “This Love”, “She Will Be Loved” and “Sunday Morning.”  The band ended up winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005.

Maroon 5’s second studio album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long was released in 2007 and contained singles like “Makes Me Wonder”, “Won’t Go Home Without You”, and “Wake Up Call”.  They then released two live albums and a remix album in 2008.  Their third studio album Hands All Over was released on September 21, 2010.

However, many of you may know them for their hit “Moves Like Jagger” featuring Christina Aguilera which was on their fourth studio album, Overexposed. It was released on June 26, 2012.  This album also includes “Payphone”, which features rapper Wiz Khalifa and “One More Night”.

I have to say that Overexposed is probably my favorite album they’ve put out.  The music is very uptempo and it’s amazing to work to!  :)
