I love snacks!  Most importantly, I love snacks that are not that bad for you and are super easy to make!  :)  These yummy Sweet, Spicy, and Salty Roasted Pumpkin Seeds will definitely be something that you and your family will crave after the first bite!  :)  ENJOY!

Sweet, Spicy, and Salty Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Sweet and Spicy Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 c natural cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp fine grained sea salt
  • 1 c fresh pumpkin seeds

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees; while the oven heats, in a medium bowl whisk together egg white, sugar, cayenne and salt
  • Then add the pumpkin seeds and toss well.
  • Next, place seeds in a single layer across a baking sheet.
  • Roast the for about 25 minutes while stirring once or twice so that they don’t stick to the pan.
  • They are ready to come out of the oven when they are golden brown and toasty; let them cool on the pan, still stirring occasionally.

Sweet and Salty Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients:

  • 1 c fresh pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees; while the oven heats, add seed to a medium bowl and drizzle with canola oil.
  • Then sprinkle the seeds with the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt and toss well.
  • Next, place seed in a single layer across a baking sheet.
  • Roast the seeds for about 40 – 45 minutes while stirring once or twice so that they don’t stick to the pan.
  • They are ready to come out of the oven when they are golden brown and toasty; let them cool on the pan, still stirring occasionally.
