Fat Heads Brewery and Saloon in North Olmsted, OH review

I had briefly heard about this place quite some time ago, but it wasn’t until recently that my dad had seen it on a local TV show…so of course we had to give it a shot and boy are we glad we did.  It was only about an hour’s drive away, but this was nothing for my family due to us normally driving around the state of Ohio on the weekends.

The place is HUGE, because it simply used to be a market.  The bar holds about 35+ people along with the various rooms, tables, booths, etc.  They even have an outside space in the summertime where they place tables with umbrellas.

They are famous for their brewery in which that a wide range in beers each and every day.  You can order them by the glass or sample any kind you’d like.

The wait wasn’t too bad.  on a Saturday afternoon we waited about 30 minutes to be seated, but once we ordered, it didn’t take long at all to get our food.

…as for the food…A-MAZING!

I ordered the DEEP FRIED PIEROGIES.  You get six pierogies fried crisp, and served with sour cream on the side.  I LOVE pierogies so they were of course amazing.  This is however an appetizer, but at the time, it filled me up just right!

My dad got the TWISTED BRISKET™.  It was a “headwhich,” which basically means it’s a REALLY big sandwich.  :)  It contained slow smoked beef brisket, basted in their Smoky BBQ sauce, topped with cheddar cheese, fried egg, and onion crisps.  It also came with homemade potato chips that were delicious.

And finally my mom got the DAMN STRAIGHT BURGER.  It contained sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, onion, pickle and 1,000 island dressing.  It was served with fries that were to die for.

Would I go back?  Umm…YES.  There was so much on the menu that I wanted to try!  If you’re ever in the area, do check it out!
