As you can see from the photo above, out main bathroom has gone through quite the makeover over the last 30 years of living in this house; and to tell you the truth, I’m actually missing a photo BEFORE the turquoise walls. LOL The bathroom originally had powder blue walls with a hexagon type of linoleum flooring; just think very 80s! :) Because our bathroom has gone through quite the remodel, we figured it was time to do it right and go a step further and replace the sink and vanity, along with the closet door. We’re not quite done yet with this bathroom, but for now, it will work. :)
From the photo above, you can see where the original 80s powder blue walls came from! :) That sink is what was left over of the original look after 2 makeovers. The beige walls were the decor that we had the longest and it just wasn’t what we wanted because we kept looking at that *amazing* sink. :) …oh…and the vanity…don’t forget the *awesome* vanity. The image on the right is what we went with! Lots of greys and whites to REALLY brighten up the room. Honestly, you wouldn’t believe how bright this room us now! It looks amazing! We painted the ceiling as well, which I think that alone really changed the room!
From this angle you can really see the grey walls and the change in curtains, along with the new towel rack.
And this is the new closet door. I think this piece is really what’s made a huge difference in the room. It’s really brightened up the room a great deal and looks SOOOOOO much better! :)
And here are some more photos of the new flooring and little decor that we’ve added. :)
Well what do you think? We could not be happier with how this makeover has turned out! Stay tuned as there’s one final piece that will need replaced. Can you guess what it is?
