Spring Wreath tutorial

A week ago I realized that our Front door looked a little bare after we removed the Easter Wreath, so I just HAD to make something!  :)  After getting some inspiration from Pinterest, I came up with this Spring Wreath!  Isn’t it cute??  I totally LOVE it and it was SUPER easy to make!  :)

  • Styrofoam Wreath
  • yarn (I used grey)
  • two different colors of felt for the flowers
  • two different colors of felt for the leaves (green)
  • a wooden letter
  • bakers twin
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun

Hot glue the end of the yarn to the Styrofoam wreath; make sure its secure.  Wrap the yarn completely around the Styrofoam wreath one time. Make sure you completely cover the wreath with yarn. Once the wreath is completely covered, hot glue the end and cut off any excess. One it’s dried, hot glue your wooden letter.

The next step is to cut out the felt flowers. You’ll need eight flowers total. I use a tutorial that can be found here.

Next, cut out the green felt leafs and hot glue them to the back of each flower.  I used two leafs per flower.

Next, attach your flowers to your wreath by hot gluing them; place them sporadically around your wooden letter.

Lastly, tie twin around the top so you may hang your wreath!  :)
