This is SUCH a cute movie that I believe the whole family can watch. Robert DeNiro and Ann Hathaway were probably at their best as far as relatable characters are concerned. This movie goes to show that it doesn’t matter at all how old you are. If you have a passion, go for it. Also, just because your young and successful, doesn’t mean a whole lot unless you’re happy.
DeNiro plays a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. So he decides to get back in the game and become a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Hathaway’s character.
Every day DeNiro shows up on time, neat as a pin, ready for work, without one feather ruffled; however the rest of the younger team members are obviously overwhelmed daily.
You also learn from this movie that the working environment has not really changed; only the tools have changed. Also, it’s not always about what you have on paper, it’s about hard earned wisdom that matters the most.
I definitely recommend you see this movie like yesterday. :)
