Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe review

Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe

My sister has been talking about this Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe restaurant for QUITE some time now, so when Mom and I were in Chicago a few weekends ago, we had to pay a trip!

Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe has been voted best pancakes in the Chicagoland Area; however, everything on their menu sounded amazing!  They are only open for Breakfast and Lunch, so if you cannot get there, you’re out of luck!  :)  They source local meats, dairy and produce and many of their recipes feature natural and organic ingredients.

When we got there, and put our name in for a 40 minute wait (it was totally worth it), we got some coffee at their coffee bar!  And this isn’t just ANY coffee bar, they have everything you could want!  I got a cappuccino that was totally delicious and just what I needed on a cool Chicago morning!  :)

Then for breakfast, mom and I split Cinnamon Apple Pancakes…they were SO delicious!!  I think I could have ate a HUGE bowl of the apples that were on top!

Ok, I live in Chicago and I’ve never heard of this place before. How is that possible?! I’m definitely going to have to check it out.

    • Whhhhhat?! Oh man you’ll love the coffee bar!! :-)

  • My family is heading to Chicago at the end of the month. While doing research, my hubby found this place. We are definitely heading there! We love our breakfast foods! Do you know…is there always a wait? Not that it’ll stop us. I just want to warn the kids.

    • Samantha, from what I hear, yes, do expect a wait. We were told 45 minutes, but I think it was only about 30…and that was a Saturday morning. However, the coffee bar does help pass time!! :)
